Our History

How it all began

Eastern Cross has been trading since 1990 with its specialty being importing and distributing Indonesian Foods to the Australian Market. Over the years, the organisation has grown and it now imports a range of food and beverage products from across Asia. Though focused on serving customers across the Sydney metro area from Woollongong to Newcastle, we now service customer from across and can deliver to Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, the Northern Territory and the ACT.  

What we do

We are importing Indonesia’s finest food products including coconut milk and cream, soy sauce and kecap manis, local beverages, snacks, chilli, mixed spice and more! Our products can be found in Asian supermarkets, major retailers, convenience stores, restaurants and food catering outlets.

 

We supply some of the most recognised brands from Indonesia and Asia including Kara coconut products, Sosro tea, Jempol chili sauces, Bamboe spices and more.

Distribution

We primarily look after customers across the Sydney metropolitan area, however we have customers from all areas of Australia including Melbourne, Hobart, Brisbane, Perth and Darwin.

Growing business with Passion

Suliyanti Sunaryo is an avid supporter of Indonesia and its culture and products. Having completed an MBA at the AGSM and also being highly involved in the Indonesian community, she aims to share Indonesian cuisine with everyone.
